I almost did not write this book.
Not because the framework was not ready. Not because the words were not there.
Because there was a season — not long ago, more recent than I am comfortable admitting — where I was not sure I would make it to the other side of it.
The person I had trusted most in my last corporate role — the one who had asked for my help when he was named to lead the organization, the one I had dropped everything for — looked me in the eye after two years and nine months and told me I was below average. Then cut me off. Just like that.
I will not name him. That season belongs to God, not to this page. What I will tell you is what it left behind.
It left devastation. The particular, bone-deep devastation that only arrives when the wound comes from someone you trusted completely.
The months that followed were the hardest of my life. I became depressed. There were instances — I will say this clearly, because someone reading this needs to hear it — where I was not sure I wanted to continue.
My family suffered financially. We were evicted from the house we were living in. And then we scattered — my wife and daughters at my in-laws, my son and I in the empty ancestral home. No income. No clear path forward.
I remember what that silence sounded like.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on Me, and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and you will find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places from which I banished you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
We declared it every day. Not because we felt it. Because we chose it.
Because the Declaration — as I would later name it in the framework — is not waiting to feel worthy. It is choosing to act from the identity you are building toward, even when the evidence around you is pointing the other way.
My son kept saying — quietly, persistently — "Two weeks… Two weeks…" He was not guessing. He was declaring.
Two weeks later, by the Grace of the Lord, the funds arrived. He went to college. My son was living the F1-Faith chapter before either of us knew it had a name.
Five months after being scattered, the Lord gathered us. The family came back together. Not the ideal situation. Not the house we had been hoping for. But together.
Twelve months since the storm, as I was writing this, I realized one thing. I am closing this month with almost $20,000.00 revenue. God willing.
From eviction to almost $20,000.00 income in a single month. From scattered to reunited. From the silence of an empty ancestral home to this page.
I did not build the F5 Freedom Framework from a position of comfort. I built it from the ruins — while the family was scattered, while the bank account was empty, while the silence was the loudest thing in the room.
If you are there right now — in your own version of that silence, holding your own version of that promise — this book is specifically for you.
